Did this solve your problem? I get an Event ID 9. I find the drives run cooler in the ProBox have the fan set to stay on the middle speed than in drive docks. And that way gets you a lot more possibilities. I am having an Identical problem using the same port multiplier card, i know this post was like 4 years ago Under this use the Probox has been disappearing several times a day.

It was no problem to restore everything prpbox because I only had like GB used now it was over 2TB used. I just upgraded to windows 10 because it was last day and now drives don't show in Windows 10 like they used to under Windows 7. This site in other languages x. I only have the one port muiltiplier card at the moment, but can try another if the devs think that it's my card -- If it's the enclosure's fault that's a bigger problem, I guess Our office upgrades have been done with every accessory disconnected.
